We are buying a serviced plot that is now 14 months late. There has been no communication at all from the developer since the private contract in April 2005

The property was 12 months behind schedule which appears to be the norm in Spain.The developer had an aversion to answering written queries or replying to phone calls, if we wanted to know anything we had to fly over to Spain to check it out.We are now in the property and are very pleased with it, however the kitchen was so poor both in quality and in the number of fittings that we pulled it out and had a new kitchen fitted.

Although we are sure we will be happy with the apartment when it is completed there has been no contact with the developer - we have been very dependent upon our agent as Fadesa do not reply to queries. We know from others that there have been problems - however most have been relatively trivial. we have our fingers crossed. They are not known for completing on time.

We did not receive enough
information regarding the
specification of the property
which resulted in additional
costs expectations. The delays in the golf courses have been a disapointment and the lack of commercial premises has been very inconvenient meaning having to leave Costa Esuri and go to Ayamonte for every type of supply one needs. Also the fact that no telephone lines and no post being delivered is proving to be most inconvenient. However on the positive side I am very happy with standard of the building of my apartment.
