693Aloe ResidentialNo31NoWe have been sold an artist's impression of our apartment which is on the top floor and shows a private roof terrace (solarium)with umbrella and sun loungers. When the buliding was finished we gained access to the roof by posing as potential buyers (we were not allowed into the building site as an existing customer!!!) and were horrified to find a communal roof with no clear separation between plots. What is worse, there is no safe brick wall around it, only a metal railing which does not provide safety nor security. We raised these issues with the developer (DECA) who blamed the architect. However, they appeared to share our concern as they promised to find a solution to make our roof terrace safer (with a glass surround or something similar) and they would contact our lawyer with the solution and contract. That was back in October. We have not heard from them and neither has our lawyer. Now we have been informed that there is no power actual supply to the development - power is provided by stand-by generators. There is dispute between Vera town council and the electricity company. Can you imagine how we feel about our investment?
