The guy that showed us around the off plan sites was great (he was not on a commission based salary)but there was no after sales service unless you paid £500 and even then people got no service at all!!

This agent sold us a property which did not have a licence to build, we are still waiting for this to be granted 16 months later. The agent is hand in glove with the solicitor he recommended to us who made payment to the builder knowing that all work had ground to a halt on the site due to there not being a building licence. Although I would reccomend the agent (Parador), I would further suggest buying straight from Polaris and cutting out the middle man, now that we are more familiar with Murcia and the buying process. Hindsight is a great thing!!

Was unable to look at resales although they had an enormous folder. Contract badly typed and full of errors including our names and property address. Agreed we could have a ceramic hob but when it came to the point had to pay extra to upgrade as no one had any knowlege of agreement. Had to find another agent with property on same site to take photos of the build as Parador failed to do so. He took these without charge and just was scathing of the "big boys" and how they ripped us off. Was not told about the nearly £500 after sales charge. This entitled us to one visit to the site and to get the NIE numbers and to be escorted to complete. The service name was changed to Owners Club. Once we became owners it ceased. As we are still in UK I asked if they could chase up the snagging but they said it was now our job but the form was blank that gave the builders contact numbers and I am still awaiting these having e mailed the blank form to Parador. The law people recommended by them are not answering e mails as I have been told that the 10 yrs. builders guarantee has been sent to them and I have asked three times for it to be sent here to UK but no response. If this village where I live had been able to get Broadband before we went out on an inspection trip we would have never bought this way. After Broadband was available I became aware of so much.
We need more facts made available and good luck to all on Eye to Eye for an incredible service especially the fact that we can now contact other buyers on the same sites. Amazing!

We paid extra for the after sales service, which is frankly 'money for old rope'. They've not done anything for us that we couldn't have done ourselves except send someone out - at great expense - every month or so to take a picture. Now we're approaching completion, they can't offer us any special deals on flights or accommodation, and they want 28 days notice to come and take us to furniture stores etc. This is against a contracted 30 days the builder will give us to complete the purchase without penalty. All in all pretty hopeless. Oh, and the quote they got for us to have some air con installed was astronomical!

Although I've left the recommendation as a 'yes' I'm not really too sure whether I would recommend Parador. I think they've become too big and impersonal and they really do like to make money out of their clients. Although I do have to say that the after sales rep Peter who looked after us in November 06 was excellent and we will be asking for his services again on our next visit to Spain when we will need to visit the site again and also look at furniture stores/warehouses etc.

Parador sold us a property knowing full well there was a problem with the license to build - never mentioned this once to us. They never ring us back. We are lucky, the solicitor did not give the developer our money and have now got it back.Parador still have our 3000euros deposit.

We have found parador properties to be professional and informative throughout the process. We were extremely well looked after during the inspection visit and felt no pressure to buy. Our needs were listened to, and great advice was given. Our agent also negotiated the payment stages with the builder to allow us to raise the necassary funds.

Agent not honest enough. After paying my deposit, everything went pear shaped. Told agent I had 20% to put down for the deposit for my friend and I (yes, I got them 1 extra sale) was promised that he will negotiate on our behalf. Came back to the UK, Developer wanted 30% each for our 2nd instalment, didnt have enough as I've already told Parador that after sale of property, will only have 20%. Had to write to the MD in Redhill to sort out the mess. Eventually after several letters and email it was sorted. Would never recommend a friend and if I do, I will tell them to put their foot down or on their head and make sure that they follow instructions correctly.

Rep said he had bought one as they were such a fantastic investment. He lied. He had not bought one. We were taken to a solicitor of the reps choice who turned out to be of doubtful integrity. Dishonest trio of rep, solicitor, builder's rep. We went back to Spain with agent in June 04. Arrived at Alicante airport, midnight. No-one met us, no accommodation booked for us. We had to sort ourselves out. HQ & Spanish office blamed each other. No apology
