Description
This is a delightful hideaway in a tiny village in Las Alpujarras. A modern 'granero' conversion and annexe to the owners' own house, it is self-contained and includes a kitchen area, own shower/toilet room, outdoor seating area with south-facing mountain views and a woodburner for chilly evenings.
Suitable for hill-walkers, motorcyclists, bicyclists and other energetic folk, the granero is only available for a maximum of 1 week (7 nights) continuous renting, but can be booked for a single night. In other words, it's a stop-over on your Spanish or European tour, or for a long weekend up from the coast. Although 4 people can squeeze in, it's really a 2 person apartment and priced accordingly. We offer a single occupancy discount of 15%. Heating and wood charges may apply.
Located between Orgiva and Trevelez, this is in the heart of the Moorish landscape and offers many opportunities to discover mediaeval routes, the high Sierras and fantastic roads for biking. Come in summer and savour the August fiestas, value-for-money restaurants (free tapas and 9 euro menu del dia) and an excellent local swimming pool. Come in winter and bring your snowshoes and walking boots! We'll give you good advice on local events, share our washing machine/dryer with you and even cook you a fabby chocolate cake on request!
