Close to the coastal area of Mojacar, lies Los Gallardos, a village at the foot of the Cabrera Mountains. Here, a small development of apartments stands proud on the rise of the land.
Los Olivos…The Olives.

Our ground floor apartment is built in a typically Spanish style within a small and friendly community of sun-loving people. The apartments share communal garden areas and a good-sized pool and paddling pool. We also share staggeringly beautiful views over the plains to the towering mountains beyond. It’s a peaceful area broken by birdsong and the sound of a goatherd passing by.

2 well sized bedrooms allow for 4 people to sleep in comfort (with extra sleeping on the bed-settee in the lounge). The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is a separate shower room, and fully equipped kitchen. Two patios and a private garden area allow you to follow the sun or the shade around as you wish. You can eat dinner alfresco, watching the most sensational sunsets over the mountain ranges.

The village of Los Gallardos is typically spanish and has everything that is needed by way of small shops, bars, restaurants, banks, post office and chemist. The village has a lively street market every Tuesday morning. There's even an internet café. Nearby towns offer more shopping and entertainment.

Although inland, Los Gallardos is less than 10 minutes drive from the beautiful and mainly unspoilt coastline and miles of sandy beaches that are lapped by the Mediterranean. Mojacar Playa is lined with bars and restaurants that offer a wide range of entertainment and culinary delights. The aroma of seafood being cooked on open fires wafts up from the beach bars. Music can be heard escaping from lots of locations…everything from traditional flamenco to soft rock and blues. There are also up tempo clubs if you want to dance the night away.

From the fantastic shoreline that stretches as far as the eye can see with all its fishing and water sport activities, to the vastness of the Tabernas Desert and the film set where many a spaghetti western was filmed, and the Cabrera mountains for hill walking, horse riding or quading, this it is an exciting area full of opportunities to explore and enjoy. Golf courses abound and the prestigious Desert Springs is close by for a round. And with the new motorway you can now quickly be on your way to anywhere you choose.
