Max kite has got it spot on although I also live in Granada\Jaen provence area so maybe only for those provences but hey why live anywhere else....

Un cuarto (rare)........bottle of beer 250ml

Un tercio....................bottle of beer 330ml

Caña...small beer

Un tercio is as it says a 3rd of a litre which is a normal bottle of beer and normaly drunk from the bottle without a glass. If you want a decent bottle of beer go for an Alhambra verde.

Its a Bromfi and was 1700E about 2 years ago. Its fairly large with an electric fan to pump out extra heat into the room and is designed to fit into a fireplace rather than sit in the middle of a room. Make me a reasonable offer and it could be yours, thats if your reasonably near to the Granada area and you can pick it up.

I live in the area and personally would not live anywhere else. If you like wide open vistas, wild mountains, lakes ,wildlife with no crowds and open roads this is the spot for you. I run a walking holiday buisiness and don't have to advertise. Why? because my clients agree with me and come back for the aformentioned so that must say something.

I have lived in Northern Andalucia in a small pueblo near to Baza for the last 2 years and we are currently surrounded by snowy mountains so its a chilly start to the New Year. The info on the site is good even though it seems to be slanted towards the Costa dwellers. Remember some of us prefer the mountains where you have to learn the lingo and there are definitely 4 seasons.
