For an excellent restaurant (Michelin listed), with a bit of style and good old fashioned service try Le Venezuela restaurant by the marina at Lo Pagan, San Pedro del Pinatar.  

Alternatively for good food (and what looked liked gigantic steaks), a lovely position right on the sea front, and attentive friendly service try the Terra Mare on the front just south of Los Narejos - as you head into town from the Commercial Centre and El Patio restaurant turn left at the next roundabout and park somewhere near the sea.
