Hi,I have just gone through the experience of purchasing in spain, around the cabo roig, camoamor region ( 20 mins north of murcia) My experience of the big boys, ie masa, atlas, was crap to say the least. I then got introduced to three excellent local agents, all british who have moved out there. and their service was fantatstic.
Take your time with properties, you have to decide exactly what it si you and your family want from the property,ie is it a palce to go and live, will it be rented out 90% of the time, is it purely a holiday home to share with friends and family? be very honest with yourself. Once decided then lookaround, dont overload yourself with properties, decide on a budget, then look at top end, bottom end and middle of the road budget wise to see what you get for your money. I f you want I can recommend or pass on the names of the agents. Good luck in your hunt
Never use the agents solicitor, get an independant one.
