Travel insurance is, by nature, primarily for "emergencies" - serious illnesses or accidents - and usually includes some form of repatriation coverage.  A travel insurance won't cover regular prescriptions - so you either need to get enough to cover you during your travels or you need to get "expat" insurance, which is a more comprehensive coverage designed for someone living overseas.

Thanks for sharing! I'm a solo traveler. I travel yearly for 2-3 months. Last year I've been to Europe tour and now I'm planning to go to Asia tour. I'm planning to visit Philippines - boracay, ilocos, cebu and sagada tour then go to Thailand - phuket and bangkok, then china - beijing then Korea - seoul and busan and lastly Japan - tokyo.
