At present there is only 1 golf course on CdA.

The 2 courses which should have been built around La Isla have not yet materialised although we've been hearing some promising news that at least 1 will be built.

The floating shopping centre sunk without trace - ala Atlantis - when the recession kicked in.

Boating on the lake seems to be on the cards though.

I did request a full list of all presidents (by Block) but ML have only sent me details for Block 5 :

I have emailed Luis with a list of points that I personally would like discussed at the next meeting :

• Are we getting a third swimming pool on La Isla ? When?
• When will the lake be filled with water ?
• What is the situation with the social club ?
• Will the buildings on La Isla be repainted this year ?
• Why are there only 2 parasols at one of the swimming pools ?
• Can the entrance to La Isla be landscaped ?
• Can we improve security ? Unauthorised people have been entering La Isla.

To be honest I do no know who the president of our block (5) is.  If anyone has a list - it would be great if it was posted here.  If not, I will drop ML an email tomorrow morning to request a full list and post it on this forum.  

I like the idea of the hot tubs & heated pools but agree that the third pool is the bigger asset to attain right now if we have a chance to secure it. 

The more of us that raise these ideas directly with the presidents of each block before the AGM the greater the chance that they may be discussed/considered at the meeting (which is not an AGM) - even if they're not a priority right now but earmarked for the future.  

P.s. - It was great to meet & get to know more islanders this summer - look forward to seeing you all again !

It was quite amusing last week watching security trying to catch the dog.  It gave them the run around for quite a while before they gave up !

On a serious note the dog looks malnourished and in need of care so it would be great if anyone knows of a way to help.
