Sorry luci you are wrong there, we have a fantastic life in the UK.

the UK has given me and my family a very nice standard of living, in fact I was even able to buy a second home in Spain which I have regretted ever since!!

Hi Kev,

Didn;t know about the 55 decible limit in Mojacar, is it the Pueblo and the Playa? 

When does it kick in? for this season?

Love walking along the front and popping into the Chirriguitos.

Nothing better than getting sun kissed and then sitting in Maui Bar at teatime and listening to the music - I would say this last year was twice 55.

If this lasts it will not be the same going out at night during the summer season, we love a bit of live music on holiday.

Just hope when we go over shortly The bar owners put 2 fingers up to the town hall.

Rent for 12 months to 2 years.

Then you will know whether Spain is for you. you will only have shelled around 10,000 euro. ( plus utility bills )

Renting gives you total flexiblity - all the associated problems stay with the owner ( rates maintenance etc )

After that period you will know where prices will be, then you can make the decision.

At this moment in time there are big issues in the eurozone - this needs resolving. You would be a bit naive to buy now with the economic situation as it is.
