ok I am back from holiday and didn't fly Ryanair!  I did actually forget that i flew with them once long ago,  in reply to the ** EDITED - Against forum rules ** that quoted that.  Perhaps that same ** EDITED - Against forum rules ** can look back over my postings regarding having had a rare head and neck cancer and the after effects.  Fartharder that's you I now  remember.  And we can trust you with only 26 postings can we?  So many trolls in and out of this site inciting people. For the record, and i think i have mentioned this before on here, i have what is known as "chemo brain" and do forget events and experiences  etc from the past and this was one of those occasions, so shoot me.  There are some very uncouth, offensive and ill-informed people on this forum.  Seems  anyone who expresses an opinion that doesn't fall in line with the status quo gets gunned down.  And for the record, I am free to express any opinion I may have about anything without fear of reprisal legally.   My photo on here is before my facial cancer, as a few people who have met me can testify to - Lorraine perhaps you are you reading this?  I am not surprised at all that many have left this site.  Perhaps a few of you would benefit from a refresher/ new course in some manners and a smattering of benevolence.  Or could it be that so many of you are so unhappy with your lives in the sun, or maybe too much of it; which is evident by your postings.  I am not usually in the habit of defending myself on here, but really some of you are so hostile I felt you needed to be enlightened that the typed word is often not fully encompassed on a forum.  So if you want to continue bitching at someone please practice this particular character defect at home or the beach and not on this forum!

allegations have already been aired; therefore legally it is not unwise to repeat them.  No tengo más que decir.

The presenter didn't fly Ryanair either, but that didn't deter him from investigating the bad practices of the company; which is what I am interested in.  For that reason I can have an opinion based on exposure of company documentation that has been exposed.   We don't all have to get our knickers in an argumentative twist do we?

I have never flown Ryanair, nor would I.  I prefer to fly a better class of airline and one that puts customers safety and comfort first.  Of course profit is a major part of a successful business but  i am not of the opinion that  all businesses would flounder as you put it, if there was no possibility of profits.  It's a matter of degree how much profit you want to make and at what cost to the customer.  In any event imho now that they seem to have the monopoly in Europe, all air passengers and their staff will continue to suffer in the future if they do not start to listen and put people before profits.

At last it's all coming out how Ryanair run their business and how O'Bleary continues with his arrogance and bullying tactics..  It's all about rush rush rush, and cutting corners, turn around in 25 mins - loads of pressure on pilots.  It's obvious they put profits over safety plain and simple.   70% of pilots on contract phew!  88.8% of pilots said they didn't have an open and transparent safety culture within the company.  If so many pilots are expressing concerns re safety this has to be a concern to passengers surely.  Looks to me like a pilot now is considered barely more than cabin crew.  Was a time when pilots were seen as the consumate professionals they are, now thanx to this company and their attitudes this is all being eroded.  Watch CH4 Dispatches on demand which was shown last week.
