Buenas tardes

I don't know if it's just me but considering it's Easter week, it doesn't appear to be particularly busy around here with tourists.
We were at a restaurant in Puerto de la Duquesa last night and the whole port was very quiet. In fact, some bars and restaurants were starting to close around 11pm.
Maybe it's just our area but I do hope the summer is busier as local businesses really do need the trade.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who entered last week's poll. You can find the links to the results of this below. And please respond to this week's below below too.
As this is "semana santa", if you want to know more about what happens this week in Spain then read this article on Easter in Spain that we published a few years ago.
And finally, enjoy this week's articles and remember to keep sending us your stories. Have a good week.
Saludos
Justin

Poll of the Week
Do you believe Spain still offers a low cost of living?
The subject of the cost of living in Spain has been doing the rounds recently with many people saying that it has shot up dramatically. Many estate agents have often sold Spain as a "low cost of living" destination, but is that still the case today?

Learning Your Spanish Imperfect Tenses
Just like the English language, the Spanish language has its own rules when it
comes to speaking about the past. One of these rules is the use of the Spanish
imperfect tense, which is quite different from the way the English language
refers to the past.

Sotogrande - An Exclusive Residential Enclave
Although it doesn't look like it now, 50 years ago Sotogrande was nothing more than a beautifully wild stretch of rugged, mountainous Mediterranean coastline some 27 km. west of Gibraltar. Now it's one of the most exclusive residential developments in the whole of Spain, if not Europe.
