Buenas tardes

Sometimes when we look back at how we started Eye on Spain we can't believe it's still going. It was one disaster after another.

So this week we kick off the newsletter with a lighthearted look at 10 things you really didn't know about Eye on Spain, mainly relating to how we started up. I'm sure you'll find this very interesting!

On a different note, a friend of ours, Francine (who writes for Hello magazine and others) has teamed up with Emmerdale scriptwriter, Philip Meeks, to offer a scriptwriting course in Spain. If you've always fancied yourself as a TV scriptwriter then this is ideal for you! More information here:

Now, enjoy this week's article and remember to keep sending us your articles to publish too. Tell us your story, about where you live or plan to live, etc. We and all our readers want to hear from you.

Have a great week.

Un saludo

Justin

The Spanish Economy Facing Strong Headwinds
The government was optimistic when forecasting their economic growth for 2011 of 1.3% although analysts see only a 0.8% growth rate. With these numbers they are confident the job market will improve.
