Hello again! It seems we've been away for ages. Well, summer is more or less over now and we're back with our regularly weekly newsletter.

Bullfighting in Spain - On its Last Legs?
So, Catalonia have banned bullfighting! This, by anyone's standards, is something of a shock. All of a sudden,one of the most emblematic parts of Spanish culture has dissappeared from one the greatest regions of Spain. In a way, Catalonia’s bull fighting ban appears more profound than the ban on fox hunting was in the UK.

Being a Flim Set Extra in Alicante
During March 2010, David Billington saw an advertisement on the website of his local town of Pinoso (Alicante province), asking for 'Extras' (Figurantes) to take part in the making of a film which was to be shot in the area surrounding Pinoso. He couldn't resist and managed to bag himself a part in the film!
