Buenas tardes
Justin in Barcelona - Enable images to view
It looks like more airport chaos is on the way.

Stikes are planned to hit Spanish airports at Easter to cause maximum disruption. It's all around the fact that the government is trying to sell off part of AENA, which controls the airports, and privatise Madrid and Barcelona airports.

Some provisional dates for the strikes have been published so have a look and see if it affects you. You can find the dates here:

Spanish Airport Strike List of Dates

Now, enjoy this week's article and remember to keep sending us your articles to publish too. Tell us your story, about where you live or plan to live, etc. We and all our readers want to hear from you.

Have a great week.

Un saludo

Justin

Homemade Spanish Gazpacho Soup
Gazpacho soup has a long history as Andalusia's most widely known dish, although there are several theories as to its exact origin. Many believe that it arrived in Andalusia in the southern region of Spain by way of Rome. The soup is prepared in a mortar and pestle, blender or food processor, and is processed to a consistency ranging anywhere from chunky to smooth as liquid.

4 Ways To Help Your Kids Enjoy Their Spanish Holiday
It's a brave parent who isn't slightly scared of taking their offspring abroad. Will he eat the food? Will she get sunstroke? Will they innocently (or knowingly!) insult the locals? Just remember that most Spanish resorts are used to families, especially along the south coast, with its clean, child-friendly beaches.

Currency Update March 2011
Over the last three months the foreign exchange market has generated plenty of noise but hasn't thrown much light on relative currency values.
