Eye on Spain Newsletter 04 September 2007

Buenos dias

Well it seems the summer holidays are officially over now.  The roads are quieter, there's a lot less people around the pool and parking in the town is so much quicker !  We're back to normal now (well as normal as one can be!).

For any petrol heads out there, I'm off on a track day event in Spain on Friday.  Hiring out a Lotus Elise with a friend and really looking forward to it.  If anyone wants to come along take a look at the website, www.trackdaysinspain.com, I think there might still be a couple of places available.

Anyway, on with today's articles...

Where Are All The Property Bargains?
Last month we decided to go on a hunt for some bargain properties but we didn't actually find any!!  This didn't make any sense to us at all.  Is it really a buyers market?  Where have the bargains gone?

What do we mean when we ask if someone speaks Spanish?
When we think about learning Spanish we usually think about Castilian Spanish, but Spanish has quite a diversity of languages.  Steve Magill tells us more about it.
