It's not just the property market in Spain which is slowing down, it's now cars too!

If you're not already aware, as of next Monday speed limits on motorways and toll roads are being reduced from 120kph to 110kph. This is allegedly to reduce fuel consumption and not to generate more revenue from fines....hmmmm. You can read more about it on this forum discussion.

Also, last week we launched our new ebook "Yes! You CAN Learn Spanish". It's for anyone who is looking for some direction in getting their Spanish to a reasonable level. Find out more about it at:

Yes! You CAN Learn Spanisn

Now, enjoy this week's article and remember to keep sending us your articles to publish too. Tell us your story, about where you live or plan to live, etc. We and all our readers want to hear from you.

Have a great week.

Un saludo

Justin

Holidays in Orgiva, Andalucia
Orgiva is the capital of the Alpujarras, a unique place immortalised by Gerald Brenan in "South from Granada" and characterised by Chris Stewart in "Driving over Lemons" and "Parrot in a Pepper Tree". The writings of these authors were inspired by the area which has its own unique mini-ecology. The melting snows from the higher mountain areas which leak into the river gorges that feed the lower mountain farmlands below.
