Colliers CRE is in the process of teaming up with real estate firms in Spain to launch Colliers International. There are two that catch my eye. One is Jet to Let by Dominic Farrell. The other is The Key to Investing in Southern Spain by a panel of speakers. I recommend both.

UK Mortgages Abroad is offering a Spanish mortgage at up to 60 per cent loan to value. The interest rate is set at 3.9 per cent and the mortgage can run for up to 30 years. There is no upper age limit and proof of income is not required. There is also an option to overpay 10 per cent a year without penalty. There is no doubt that the Spanish mortgage market is on the move and new deals are coming onto the market regularly. As a non status product for non residents, this looks a good deal to me.
