Time For Money To Be Released By Courts

Hi

Does anyone know the timescale for the courts to judge on legal fess intrest and release the money.

We sucessfully won against against Huma for breach of contract on ACC, Huma paid a sum of money into court and we recieved the principal amount less legal fees in July 2009.

Our solicitor told us that the court had to judge the amount of legal fees and intrest we would be entitled to and we are still waiting.

Depends if bank appeals the judgement to pay fees and interest or not .MM

That is correct. Judicial process all produce first a payment of the principal amount under discussion and then, afte a small procedure where the parts have their voice, another decission on interests and legal costs.

But how long does the procedure for the decision on intrest & legal costs take, we have been waiting almost seven months.
