Pro Perros Fuengirola decided to approach this forum with a good cause. Namely, we have now launched a pioneering undertaking to get Dog Parks to Fuengirola.

It might sound like a trivial thing, but in reality this matter affects thousands of people whether they are dog-lovers or anti-dog. Dog droppings are an endless topic of conversation no matter where one lives and in a town as big as Fuengirola, there is NOT a single place to where to take the dog out for a walk.

Even though this is only a local undertaking it might encourage people all around Costa del Sol to start a similar type of project in their own place of residence. The petition can be signed on-line at:

c o s t a p o r t a l  . c o m / f u e n p e r r o s

(obviously the address is not in its full glory as it should be because of having made less than 10 posts for this forum - obviously clever readers know what to do...)

It makes NO difference where you live - the only thing of importance is the fact that you agree that dogs should have dedicated areas for their use to have a run and do their necessities. Signing takes less than a minute of your time and it is absolutely free. So, please do a good thing and sign the petition now!

You will be doing a big favour, not only for the dogs of Fuengirola, but also for the dog owners and the personnel of the Fuengirola municipal sanitation department.

Thank you so much for participating! We have received signatures from as far as from Tokyo, San Francisco, Edinborough, Bournemouth, Sweden and Finland to name but a few examples of how people want to participate for the benefit of the dogs!

Sincerely,

Pro Perros Fuengirola

I too have just signed the petition. I have recently moved from the Mijas Costa area, Walking the dog was a real problem. I always carry poo bags. I love dogs, but I hate to see the streets littered with mess, anything to improve the lot of dogs and people alike,is good as far as I'm concerned.

Kind Regards,

Denise
