Buying a car in Spain

We are buying a second hand car from our friends and would like to do all the paperwork and transfer of ownership ourselves along with our friends.  I know we will have to go to Alicante to trafico.  Has anyone else done this and is it  a difficult process.

When we sold a car we just used the services of a gestor.  He wasn't expensive and took all the hassle out of the process.

Have you considered this instead?
