Bus From Alicante Airport

Hi all,

  Does anyone know if you can pay cash on the bus from Alicante airport to Benidorm or do you have to buy a ticket in advance?

Last year I paid the driver as you board, great service its just the new bus station in benidorm is a bit out of the way?

  I've taken the coach from Benidorm to alicante a few times and agree it is a great service.I get the wife to drop me off at the bus station, buy my ticket at the sales office then it is a non-stop journey down the toll road.Takes about 45 minutes and drops you off right opposite the terminal. I just wasn't sure if I had to buy a ticket off the internet or pay the cash to the driver as I have not done the trip from the airport before.

I have never taken the bus from the station just the Airport and paid cash

Maybe 2 heads are better than one???????

Dont know whther you have tried this but have a look at resorthoppa.com you can book before and usually get a cheaper price, my sister travels to Benidorm matbe 6 times a year and never pays more than 20€ return it will drop you and pick up from outside hotels and apartment blocks too
