Non Completion on Roda Contracts

We are currently trying to withdraw from our contract at Roda.  The battle has been going on for many years now and will no doubt end up in court soon.  There has been a complete breakdown in relationship and we have lost total faith in Roda due to broken promises in connection with the property plans.  Roda have lied every step of the way but still the Spansih system seems stacked against us.  I wondered if there was anyone else in the same situation?  Or anyone who had successfully managed to withdraw from their contract?  The stress is really beginning to get to my family now.  We are on to our second set of Spanish lawyers and are now being pestered by an organisation called Global Property Forum, promising us what I am sure is again false hope.  Roda are now also applying pressure through a UK solicitor.  It would be really good to make contact with anyone in the same situation. 

Hi Bill - you should have a look at the community forum and see if your development has it'sown thread.  There are lots of Rodas there so hopefully yours is amongst them.

Unfortunately there are lots of people on this forum who have lost deposits and/or their properties and are going through the courts to try to recover something out of the mess.  You will find there are lots of people here willing to offer advice if you ask about specific issues.
