Frozen Sky Box

I don't know if I am posting in the correct section but I need some advice from anyone that knows about sky boxes. Ours is fine when on 998 (sky welcome) but as soon as we try to switch to BBC or any channel the whole things freezes and won't do anything. This happens sometimes and usually if I just unplug it for a minute it corrects itself but not this time!

Anyone have any idea if it can be sorted out or do I need to buy a new box?

Unplug the box from the mains and leave it unplugged for at least 5 mins, if not longer.

Then plug it back into the mains, and again leave it, this time for about 3-5 mins.

Then switch it on and press the backup button to clear the message.

Now try BBC or ITV.

If you still have problems, check the signal quality under 'Services'. '4 System Setup' and then '6 Signal Test'.

If the signal strength is low and keeps moving up and down, it may be that your dish has moved.

Is it a normal box or Sky+? If Sky+, try a planner rebuild.

Normal Sky box. Got it working again last night but it went again for most of today,just got it going again now! Think I need a new box!
