La Marina Pueblo - is it possible to hire car for 2 days only?

Going to El Pinet for 5 days in Sept.  Just wondering if there are any places in La Marina village that hire cars for just a few days.  It is much more expensive to hire cars now and it is hard to use the expensive fuel you have to purchase in 5 days.  Hopefully someone has some information.

http://www.hirecarsinspain.com/ at Alicante airport have cars though they need your dates & I put in 5th till 10th Sept to see. Choose Econorent for full/full, no charge for fuel upfront. They give you a full tank & you return car full, JS.
