advise needed, on suma on my car?

I need your help! I moved to spain and took my english car with me.i then tranfered it to spanish number plates.

I have moved back to the uk and brought the car back with me and put it back onto english number plates and sold the car 1 year ago, but im still being charged suma on the car.  thought when i went to dvla and put the car back onto english plates dvla would let traffico know? i have been told i need to go to traffico in alicante with the correct paperwork but my spainish is not very good!

please can someone tell me how i can sort this problem out from here in the uk, or is the anyone who can offer me a service and do this for me, thanks,

Hi there, I asked the same sort of question this week on EOS as I also have a UK car that is on Spanish plates which I am now taking back to the UK. One of the replies was to get a baja which is like de-registereing the car from the Spanish system. Not sure the exact procedure yet but when I do I will post it on here.

THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT I OWE 2 YEARS WORTH OF SUMA NOW AND IM A BIT WORRIED!

IM NOT GOING OVER TO SPAIN THIS YEAR AND REALLY WOULD LIKE TO GET THIS SORTED OUT FROM THIS END,SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY ASWERS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

I do NOT know if Debbie & Tom of Legal Solutions based in La Marina urbanisation can help you in this way but certainly worth a try. On another local forum I read they are slow on emails & it was better to ring them so bear that in mind. Maybe a call to them would give you hope (or not).

My husband & I went to see Debbie & Tom last month as we wanted to know all involved should we transfer our UK car onto Spanish plates. We found them very helpful & Debbie itemised everything very clearly.
