DOGs TRAVELLING TO SPAIN

I have just been looking into travelling back to Spain with my two dogs.  Am I right in what I have just read.... that they cannot under the Pet Passport scheme come back into the UK until 6 months have passed from their blood test!!!!

you sound surprised!!! so maybe there is more to this than meets the eye and there is a misunderstanding.  have the dogs ever been chipped, given rabies shots and had their blood tested? have they ever had pet passports? of course, you can take them back at any time but would have to put them in quarantine.

Yes it is true, it is six months from a successful blood test. I had a scare because one of my puppies failed his first blood test and so had to go back to the beginning of the process and have a second rabies jab. Fortunately his blood test was ok this time, so he just made it. So now I can take all 4 of my dogs to Spain at the end of the year for a few months!! Just hope the youngsters travel as well as my older girls!!!!!!
