Hi All,

Sorry about such short notice but I've only just found out about this myself.

Tomorrow Night, the 11th June, there is a Charity Quiz Night being held at itZabar in Sabinillas. The bar is located a few doors down from Mercadona, in the direction of La Duquesa.

It is in the aid of a lovely 4yo boy whose name is Ethan Taylor as he has Cerebral Palsy, which means he has terrible difficulty in walking. There is an operation that he is going to have and hopefully this will help improve his walking abilities.

As we all know, these kinds of operations aren't cheap! In fact it's going to cost 4000,00€ and this will be self funded by Ethans parents.

However once Kevin and the gang down itZabar found out, they knew they had to help in some way, and that's why they are holding this quiz night to help raise some much needed cash.

It will only cost 5€ per person for the night... that's right... just 5€.

Which includes Entry into the Quiz and a Slap up Supper made by Kev (which I know will be blooming good!). There will also be a couple of raffles to boost the cash raised.

Note: itZabr will NOT profit from this event as all proceeds raised from the quiz will go to Ethan and his dream operation.

If you live around this area of the Costa Del Sol or if you are on holiday here, even if you have plans, please come down and join the quiz. Fun will be had by all and you know that you are helping a little boy have a much better chance in life.

Colin, I think it's great that local businesses are supporting causes in this way!  Fantastic!  Were we in Duquesa, we would most certainly be in Itzabar tomorrow night!  Is there some way we could contribute from here?  I did think of asking you to put in some money for us (being as you're just next door and we could settle with you in July when we're there!!) but then realised if you had 500 people asking that, it might be a problem!!

But just think it's fantastic that there are businesses, especially in this current climate, putting it out there to help!  Well, done Itzabar!

As it's you I will put some dosh in for you, but If I win a raffle prize... I'm keeping it myself!!!!! Na! Only kidding!

See you in July.

Colin, any news on how the quiz night went?  Hope Ethan is a lot closer to having his operation.

Just read this, how did it go Colin and how much did you raise.  Well done Kevin for organising this, Itzabar is always the first place we call to on our way from the airport and the last place we go to on our way back to the airport, Kevin makes us some lovely sandwiches to take on the plane.
