can anyone tell me the rights and wrongs of boundaries. We have just had a villa built in Fuengirola, and the land next door since has been sold and the devolopers have put three large townhouses on blocking our view, and the 3rd one is right on our swimming pool , can anyone suggest what we can do. regards maggie

Any new building has to work within a set of boundary rules, depending whether its urban or rustic, you can check at the town hall, or, better get your lawyer to check, but you should have been on to this right at the start, as things are difficult to reverse once underway. As to rights of view, its best before purchasing any plot, to have your lawyer check on any open land around, especially if you are in an urban location as it is likely it will be build on, as you have no claim to right of view.
