Vodafone abolish roaming charges

Just in case anyone hasn't seen the announcements, Vodafone are abolishing their roaming charges for the summer, calls are charged within your plan or at the same rate as your PAYG tariff. Read all about it!!

I saw the offer myself and be taking out a new contract phone with Vodaphone, I believe that the offer on no roaming charges, only applies in June, July, & August. I post again tomorrow when I been into the Vodaphone shop.

Yes, it is only for the summer, 1st June- 31st August. I'm sure others will follow and you never know, there may come a time in the not too distant future when it is all year round. 3 do something similar, but it doesn't cover Spain unfortunately

In response to Vodafone scrapping their roaming fees, 3 have just brought out there revised charges;

35p per minute to phone the UK/ EU
15p per minute to receive a call from UK/ EU
Text message 25p
Photo message 25p
 

Well done 3 , may well be buying a PAYG Vodafone card before travelling.
