befor last payment

could anybody advise on a very good structural engineer local to marbella.

we have been told it is worth paying for a complete survey of a new property befor completing.

although the builders are giving a 10 year warrenty this can sometimes not be worth the paper it is printed on.

any assistance would be much appreciated

Yes we have used a chap called Campbell Fergusson. He is on the coast, very good honest and rliable and is a FRICS. Do you want me to PM his number to you?

I used Campbell from Survey Spain last September to do some site survey work at our development. It wasn't snagging work more technical stuff about build quality etc. He can be a bit "forgetful" make sure you put everything in writing but his report was presented well and his charges reasonable!
