pre employment medical examination- recommendations please?

Hi everyone,

I may shortly be accepted for a job abroad that will require a pre employment full medical, including x rays and hiv test. can anyone recommend a private clinic that offers this service in the Andalucia area? Or Gibraltar? Does anyone know if this is available on the Spanish Health Service as I am resident here? Any advice most welcome?

Silly question maybe, but if the medical is required for you to be employed, isn't it the employer's responsibility to arrange and pay? I know when I went to work for First (in the UK maybe), I had to have a BUPA medical, but that was all paid for by them. It would be a different matter though if you had to have the medical in order to gain a HGV/ PCV licence for the first time.
