Ready to start our new life mid March- April.

Profile

Couple, no children, mid forties, no pets.

Non-smokers, teetotal (partner occasional glass of wine)

We are both cleaning freaks (house-trained), so will leave the apartment tidier than we find.

We also rent out a property within the UK, through an agency, and expect our tenants to look after and respect our home.

Our requirement

1bedroom minimum furnished apartment, parking a plus.

One month contract, but with the option of a twelve month extension.

Not a rural location. Require only a large urban (British ex-pat community) seaside town.

Good transport links.

Happy to pay up-to £360 or per month rent  or 400 Euros(can it be done)

Will pay a deposit and part rent up front, payment could either be paid direct from our UK account or direct from our UK rental agent to your account

Regards

Hi & welcome. It would help if you had an area in mind or doesn't it matter ? Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca, Costa Luz, Costa Almeria, Costa Brava etc. You sound wonderful tenants. I'm sure you'll get something fast. Good luck.

I EDITED THIS TO ADD: I hadn't searched your posts prior to replying but I have now & see you put in another post

'Quite flexible on location (prefer a more large town city environment)'

Hi thanks for your quick reply

We are really open to ideas. Would like to be able to stroll along a beach without jumping in the car.

Hate litter so walking along a beach with litter would drive me crazy. ( would want to go around with a bin liner tutting. lol)

Not really into crass over the top tourists bars and nightclubs but until we adjust need a security blanket of a ex-pat community.

Not  a golfing complex in a rural enviroment.

Love harbours and promenades.

Only experience of Spain had a lovely stay in Marbella, so we need the help of this forum including landlords, ex-pat and rental agents to recommend a location.

Will need to find a little bit of paid and voluntary oppotunties to avoid driving my partner mad

Only understand a couple of words of Spanish but  keen to speak more.

Thanks for reading

I know what you mean about litter, it freaks me out. In our area of the CB they employ people to collect litter dumped in the lovely park areas, in the dune walks by beach & down side of main roads. You see yellow bags awaiting pick up. But the litter in Spain is, I find, totally unbelievable. I was always taught to be tidy. I was never allowed to drop litter like a choc wrapper. Always had to put it in a pocket to take home or wait till we saw a bin. In Spain you see whole binloads dumped wherever it seems to suit those who do it, plastic bottles, tin cans, you name it. I hate sitting next to a littered table in a bar/restaurant too, I tend to collect it & help them out rather than sit looking at it. The things we all do to get by, lol.
