Hi new to this forum,

I would like a bit of advice please.

We have owned an apartment in Phase 7 of  Zeniamar for the past 4 years and must say thoroughly enjoy holidays and neighbours there.  Our kids are getting a bit older now and want to travel to other destinations and for one reason or another we are toying with the idea of "trying" to sell our apartment.  Is there anyone selling their apartment or duplex at the moment - are you having any success.  What are people's view of asking price - i.e. what percentage would you have to drop from original buying price to sell?

I appreciate any replies.

Thanks in advance,

Angela59

Hi and welcome to Eye on Spain.

Maybe try posting your question on the Zeniamar forum as your question is specific to that urbanisation.

Hi Angela - welcome to the forum.

Properties are still selling in Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa (slowly) but we are finding that a lot of buyers are being very specific about what they want and they are then putting in low offers.  It is hard to give you a percentage and really the only way to price your property in the current market would be to look at neighbouring prices and then go lower.  If your house is south facing, or there is anything else which makes it stand out from the crowd, then you may be able to get a bit more.

All the best!

 Hi Claire,

Thanks for the advice good to hear it's not all doom and gloom on the costas!  We're facing the sea which I think is east and also have a garage for parking.

Many thanks for your reply.

Angela
