Hi.

Am new to the forum & was hoping for some ideas on a hotel.  We are making the move in April - sailing from Portsmouth to Santander with our 2 doggies!

We dock at Santander at approx 6pm & we have approx 1100 km to drive to our destination (Costa Del Sol).  Obviously we don't want to do this all in one go - so would like an idea for a hotel.

We're hoping to drive for a couple of hours when we arrive - so can anyone tell me a dog friendly hotel that's approx 2 or 3 hours from Santander that we can stop at?  I'm not sure of the exact route we'll be driving as yet - so any tips for that too would be great, thank you!!!

Many thanks in advance......

Emma  :)

For me, convenience would always be an Ibis. They are everywhere, also findable by your GPS and take dogs, though I am not sure if they would allow two.

Ibis are part of the accor group of hotels if you go here and under along a planned route it will show you all the hotels on that route if there are any all accor group hotels take pets but mostly only one pet per room

We always do that trip. We do it with our dogs, but we don't stop. It takes about 9 hours. (including doggie loo toilet stops)
