Mortgages - help!

Hi there

is anyone else having problems with repayments or is it just me?  When I bought my property 2 years ago, I was recommended a mortgage broker by the agent who roped me into an interest only mortgage for 12 months after which it has reverted to repayments.  UCI the provider, has increased the rate twice in the last 18 months without notification, and this has made repayments very difficult.

I'm trying to find an alternative supplier but as a non-resident am finding it difficult because the fees are so ridiculous ie: 5000+ euros, or I haven't had my current mortgage for a minimum of 3 years.

The interest rates are ridiculous! Any good recommendations?

Hi, we bought an appartment in Tenerife last year, with a mortgage through Solbank. They were very good. They have web-site in English, that is very easy to use. I dont rember any fee. We have a fixed rate mortgage for the full term. I would certainly recomend them.
