The Emperor´s new cloth

A very good colleague of mine, Lawyer in Fuengirola (Malaga) working on the side of consumers in the Real Estate met in a Law Conference yesterday. It was in Marbella.
Too many ties and grey/blue jackets by the way. Too boring in terms of attire.
We laughed, discussed and had lunch with our teams... we concluded that many Lawyers and Judges´ position regarding Consumers Law in the Real Estate field in Spain is exactly that of the "general public" in the famous danish fairy tale.
There is still very few shouting: " He has no cloth"
By the way, he is married with a Danish woman, like Andersen.

I hope not. Our lawyer has just presented our claim for failure to repair snagging and building faults after 18 months to a judge in Estepona. I hope the law "emperor" has a few clothes on to help us! Our developer ignored all responsibility (and what we were assured is "the law" to undertake snagging within a set period) once the sale went through.
On the other hand they are claiming we broke "the law" by presenting more than one snagging list. (In fact a repeat of the first one they had ignored but BEWARE of this).
