Can any of you out there please help.
We are visiting the Costa Brava area for approx 4 months starting in November and need to be able to be 'on-line' with our laptop.
We know that we probably will not be able to get broadband but a simple method of being able to receive emails would be good.
In India we were able to buy a dongle for approx. £30 and then top this up with pay-as-you-go for approx £3 for 30 hours on-line.
Are there similar deals available in Spain?
We still have the Indian dongle but it is probably specific to the Indian provider so it is likely we have to buy a new one.
Can anyone advise what is te best type of deal availabe please
Cheers to all.
John

Hi John
I don't think you can use your Indian one in Spain but both Vodafone and Orange do mobile "modem" working off 3G and GPRS. I'm not sure if movistar do it too but I assume they probably do.
We bought a Vodafone payg modem a couple of months ago. It cost 79 Euros (I think) and came with 75 MB allowance included.
It works OK if the coverage is strong enough.
It's probably your best (or only) bet anyway.
