El pirata is a new bar/ restaurant just over the road from the Central Salud health centre in Albatera.
The bar opened some weeks ago by a Dutch lady Marian, is quickly becoming a focal point for expats and Spanish alike, this is due to the good atmosphere, beverage and food.
The food side is an ongoing part of this new business that can only get much better, although it is already very good. We were there last night (Friday) for the excellent fish and chips. Tapas are on offer most nights, also I am told is the curry, with much more to offer on the menu.
