Happy, happy, and even more happiness. We are coming to CDS on Sunday night/early hours of Monday morning to sign on the dotted line on Tuesday 17th - after looking, hesitating, looking and hesitating some more.

It's, so far, all gone smoothly and trouble free,  our lawyer is THE BEST (thanks for the introduction Inez!) so fingers crossed as from Tuesday night we will take up residence and open a bottle of bubbly or two!

I'm sooooooooooo excited!!!!

........this makes me happy,  Aifos being exposed for some of their wrong doings. About time to, lets hope this means justice for those of us facing them in court soon?

thanks for your kind words, we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel now . With a straight judge we should win our case. Another bit of good news is a judge has already granted in our favour, an embargo we applied for, on an Aifos property, should they go bust or file for bankrupcy during the fight.

Even better Goodstich44, I wish you well, it must be an awful time for you, a few more grey hairs no doubt!

Thanks for your good wishes - I can't believe it's gone so well! Having bought an off plan property 4 years ago and selling before completion - which was extremely stressful this time the whole process has been roughly 4 weeks from start to finish. Maybe because we are having a resale.

No doubt I will now start contributing more to other threads with endless questions once we start buying furniture etc. and coming out more often. I wonder how many members of EOS are on CDS?

Anyway I look forward to Tuesday and shall report back when it's done!

Good luck with your moveing in, re-sales are good as you can "see" what you are getting. We bought off plan and it went swimmingly for us, although I know others have had problems.

Anyway, I am happy today as i am going to see my Daughter & Grandson Ben (4).

I have lots a baking I did yesterday and he is waiting for his bread rolls & muffins!

Tomorrow it's my other Daughter's turn and Grandaughter Jessica (3), best save her some rolls & muffins else I will be out of favour! She is going to have a new baby Brother or Sister Aug 5th so another thing making me happy today!!!!

Yes we are happy today we have another great grandson born at 5 this morning 8lb 12ozs.   so that makes 10grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.  Wow I think we need to get back to Spain.  Happy Birthday Sue. Well done Justin this forum is great.   Well of to do some visiting now Regards Pat

 

Another grand nephew for me Tuesday a.m. That's a worldwide total of 20 grand nephews plus 4 grand nieces!!

And to think my parents were both 'only' children leaving me an my siblings without aunts or uncles.

My HAPPY Spain story concerns the medics. Whilst in England recently I had a fall ( no, Fibby....not too much Liria!!) and I thought,'Oh it will be ok' as you do. Anyway on my return my leg had begun to swell so I trailed up to the doctors and within a couple of hours I was bandaged up, x rayed, given pain killers and anti inflametery stuff and told not to walk ( hey, I said, I'm a woman................no one else in our house knows where the cooker is!!!!)

I know it's an unusual Happy Spain Experience, but compared with the time I could have spent in an English A&E.....it's happy.

                                                                                                                 ( my leg isn't broken....just a bit messed up!!)

So if anyone has to be involved in the Spanish Health System............don't worry.....................be Happy.

I said goodbye to one of my clients today, just sold their house and they are going to their Spanish home to live there permantley. I am so jealous. I have another friend now as she came in with her address and details. I'll have to find Santa Pola now . Think I have more friends in spain than I do here  . I wish them all the luck in the world and I know they will be so very happy. Lovely couple.
