I desperately need to know for tonight's Meeting ...................please can any of you wonderful oracles help out !!!???

What is the employers social security contribution for an employee on a salary of 18,000 euros p.a. ????

I've searched everywhere and all I can find is 6.4% employees contribution.

Generally Spanish companies quote wages NETT - i.e. they pay all of your income tax and N.I.

If it is an English company, I can't help as they will play by their own rules.

I guess, at the end of the day, if you are on PAYE - i.e. IRPF then it's the employer's responsibility to sort it all out.  If you are an employer, then get an ASESOR!

Why not PM Roberto as he used to be El Presidente so he might be able to explain.

He has often talked about the problems his community encountered when employing gardeners and cleaners who they later had to sack as they weren't up to standard.

I'm sure I read somewhere that if you employ someone then you have to pay their NI for 2 years even after you've let them go.
