Hi, I wonder if anyone can give me a bit of advice.   I've bought a Hobby 720 Uk caravan and have fitted on an awning etc. and decked it out with wooden flooring, lcd tv, leather suite etc.,  It is really nice but I must admit I bought and did it all it in haste and now wish I had rented an apartment for a while as I'm not sure if myself and partner are cut out to be caravaners. We are currently sited  in Benidorm and the site fees are quite expensive - latest phone call to the site has revealed that we will be paying around £4,000 for this year 08-09.  We're realistic enough to realise that we would have a job to sell it but I wonder if anyone knows of a nice residential site that would be cheaper  - we don't really need loads of facilities such as gyms, pools etc., as these just add to the annual fees and we don't mind where in Spain the site is.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Plus, as a last resort, if we can't find a reasonably priced site, we may  bring it back to the UK - so any towing advice would also be appreciated.    Thanks.

I agree camping La Manga is probably what you are looking for we were there this winter for 2 months and paid £545. Basically the longer you stay the cheaper it gets.

If you want to site the van permantly there are are options like buying your own plot??? As to how much for a whole year you would have to contact them direct.

Also it is a very nice area.

Hope this helps
