For those that aren´t aware, tomorrow, Thurday the 12th October, is a national holiday here in Spain. It´s "Dia de la Hispanidad" or "Hispanic Day". It commemorates Christopher Columbus´s arrival in the Americas.

It also means that many people will be taking Friday off to make "el puente" or "the bridge" so that they can have an extra long holiday.

So if you need anything done here over the next two days you may be better off leaving it till next week!
