Hi all, new to the forum.

I met somebody at a property meeting who was talking to me about this development and said it was worth looking into. He said they cost from 250k euros upwards for 2 beds, but I have just seen them on the web on varios sites from 203k and 215k asking prices, was wondering if people have bought and now looking to shift them on for bad reason??

Has anybody heard much about this development? Or can give advice on how to decide wisely, whether or not to buy?

Seem expensive for where they are...near Aguilas you can get a 2 bed apartment 100m from beach on new golf [ opening later this year] from circa 170.500 €

And on Polaris World Resorts 2 bed maisonettes from 119.800 € ,[ 18 month build]  even on the established Resorts eg Mar Menor apartments are from 156.300 € Town Houses from 228.387 €........for a life style purchase with golf they are a very good buy...owners will be able you play at concession rates on the NIcklaus Golf Trail of 9 courses

Polaris World are not just for golfers as they offer facilities for everyone

Advantage of say Ma Menor extension is that facilities are already built and it is 5 mins from beach

As regards the prices quoted,it does look as though some agents are still inflating the asking prices, either to earn more commission or to offer you  an attractive discount as an incentive!!!!.....happened a lot in the bull market

Hi Brian,

Thanks very much for your reply, does seem high prices after some further research, but the deal seemed quite attractive as he was said they were offering a some cashback due to the VAT paid back or something? Also, rental guarantee for a few years?

Have you heard of that at all? Or is it slightly dodgy?

Thanks again

Del

Del

Cash backs are built in to the price as are ' Guaranteed Rentals'.....buying in UK, Spain or anywhere....it is a marketing tool

Now there is nothing really wrong with an agent giving you ' part of his commission'  but certainly not if the price has been inflated before hand !!!!...which from what you say appears to be the situation here

In the current market, if you are a serious buyer with a good deposit or cash. then please look around...there are some attractive properties available !!!!

Brian

Hi

My partner has just bought a 2 bed, 1 bath fully furnished 2nd (top) floor apartment in Los Collados Resort, between Aguilas and Calabardina (Costa Calida). He paid 90,00euros for it and reckons he got a real bargain. It is so well furnished that he doesnt have to buy a thing. He bought it through Oasis Properties Aguilas who are based on the Los Collados Resort site. We are going to use it but also rent it out.  Los Collados resort isnt quite finished yet but they are building a new Shopping centre on site so next year there will be a supermarket, bowling, a spa, restaurants etc. there is already tennis courts and a bar on site now and an 18 hole golf course is going to be built very soon. When they start building the Marina de Cope development at Cabo cope the property values are bound to increase. The other good thing is that there are a lot of Spanish owners too, so it is not an English getto!!

If you are interested you should contact Rich 0034 649 469 787 or email rich@oasispropertiesaguilas.com
