Hi There.
Can anyone tell me where the nearest furniture shop is in murcia please.
I am looking for either DFS, Ikea etc, to buy furniture to furnish my apartment at condado de alhama golf resort.

Hi
There are two very large commercial centres to the north of Murcia. One has Ikea which is the best starting place. if you go to the www.ikea.es web site there is a map showing its location.

There are 2 large shopping centers in Murcia.
Dos Mares (24,800 m²) is at San Javier and Espacio Mediterraneo, a leisure and shopping centre (50,000 m²) opened in Cartagena in May 2007. There is a planned retail park (14,000 m²) adjacent to the Poligono Industrial Oeste due for completion in 2009.
The second is Thader at 67,000 m². Both are located at the north of the city.
Gives you some ideas.
The largest is Nueva Condomina over 145,000m². It has approximately 140 units and at present only 4 units are available for rent at 31 euros per metre, per month.
