Any alternative to google Earth?

I enjoy using Google Earth, but find some images are updated a lot more regularly than others. Take our UK address (please someone!!) for example, the picture of our estate has recently been updated. Previously the image was at least 7 years old. Our urbanisation in Spain shows as a building site, even though it was completed in June 2006. I would like to be able to show friends and relatives that haven't been what the area looks like, preferably with some more up to date images.

I agree it is very frustrating not to be able to find where you are in Spain, except for blank earth!
