I enjoy using Google Earth, but find some images are updated a lot more regularly than others. Take our UK address (please someone!!) for example, the picture of our estate has recently been updated. Previously the image was at least 7 years old. Our urbanisation in Spain shows as a building site, even though it was completed in June 2006. I would like to be able to show friends and relatives that haven't been what the area looks like, preferably with some more up to date images.

Mark

ours is the same, our plot in Rojales is still showing as a sand pit, which means the pic is about 4 years old.

I agree it is very frustrating not to be able to find where you are in Spain, except for blank earth!

You could try MSN maps at http://maps.live.com the maps are possibly a little more upto date than Google although some of the photo images are not so detailed. You can download a 3D viewing option this is really good for the UK not so good for Spain but boy oh boy is it ace as a time wasting tool!

You could try wayfinder.com. These maps are pretty much up to date.
