Hello
I'm thinking of having Wifi installed in my new apartment in Calahonda, Costa del Sol, and I'm trying to find out some info around the costs involved, availability and how long it would take to connect up etc.
Has anybody else has this service connect?
Any info greatly received please.
Cheers

If you already have broadband, it is very easy to install a router. However, do you have a wifi enabled PC? If so, you will be OK and should just put in the wireless router and connect. If not, you will need a "dongle" (USB gadget that transmits the signal to the router). You may have to set the router up with a hard wire first (to get the settings correct) then tell the computer to go wireless.
I understand that Telefonica provides a wifi router as part of their broadband package and may even come and set it up for you. If you don't already have broadband, this may be the only way to go.
