When does this number go up?
I thought this calculated the number of times you posted an answer but I've just noticed that mine very rarely goes up.
I've obviously got it wrong so would appreciate an explanation.
I'm in awe of the people who have high post numbers, I seem to be posting quite a bit (or so my DH says) and yet I'm still on 214. May be 215 with this!

I thought it would just be the total number of posts you make as well. Unless posts in a certain area of the forum dont add onto your total but I'm just guessing there.

Semi, it does seem as if your post count should be higher as you do, as you say, post a lot. Do a search on your name & count up. If it was up to More I'd add 1,000 to your 215. A few one liners rather than your very long informative posts will bump it up without you spending any more time typing.

Well I did a search and the numbers not far off, it seemed to be 10 to a page and I think I made it 223 but I am watching the telly and counting at the same time, if definately was just 3 on the final page.
It was only by doing this search that I realised that every post is updated with the number of posts and they all showed as 216.
Wonder if now they'll change to 217 with this one.
