Hola everybody,

We bought a property in Los Nietos (La Manga) in 2004, and although it came with furniture we fitted it out and made it "Ours".

We go over to spain 4-5 times a year and still get a buzz every time we go, we have so many friends young and old (we are in our 60s) its the best thing we ever did.

Are there any other members near us?

Hi there both

There are many members who've bought in the Los Alcazares & Santiago de Ribera areas. I did a search of your development Los Nietos also I looked for anything showing as La Manga on EOS but cannot find any. Maybe Justin has them under another name, it happens. If there is a development forum that would be best for you although, if the place is finished, sometimes no one posts.

We are further up the coast at Guardamar. We are currently non residents & get out quite a few times too, like yourselves, & are always making new friends, often from EOS.

When we were over recently we went to San Pedro market on 31st Dec, afterwards we went on to the Eroski Dos Mares.  I wanted to also visit a Mercadonna and gave up trying to find the one sign posted in San Pedro, we travelled on further past Dos Mares and found one further down which I believe was Los Alcazares.

Quite a big centre is it near to where you live?

We're in Torrevieja, also non residents and visit about 4 or 5 times a year.  When my husbands finally makes a decision to cut down on his working hours we will still visit at the same times of year but stay for longer periods.

Welcome to the forum. We are near Murcia airport but have been down your neck of the woods when we were looking for property. Am I right in thinking you are towards Cabo de Palos and mar de Cristal way? We did look in Los Urritas too which I think is a bit further North to you? Lovely area down there.

We are no more than 10 min from Cabo de Palos and right next door to Mar de Crystal,Cartagena is 15min and Torrevieja is 30min away.

so we are very pleased with our location at Los Nietos.

We will be out there from the 5th - 20th of Feb.

Thought that was where you were. It is lovely there. Glad you are happy there. we are in Santiago de Ribera so not too far from you. Took a trip down to cartagena again last September. Love the marina there. Not over until April now  .
